At Oaklands, we support every student so that they can progress to the next stage of their life, whether that’s university, an apprenticeship, employment, or specialist training. Our personalised guidance, strong academic foundations, and comprehensive careers programme ensure that all students leave us equipped for success.
University
- We have students accepting places at prestigious universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.
- Between 30 and 45% of our students attend Russell Group Universities (much higher than the NA).
- Students study competitive courses such as medicine, dentistry, midwifery, architecture, engineering, economics, law, psychology, computer science and many more.
Apprenticeships
- More of our students are choosing to apply for apprenticeships so they can study and work at the same time.
- In recent years students have taken up degree apprenticeships with high profile companies such as IBM, CISCO and Balfour Beatty.
- This year students have accessed Level 7 Apprenticeships - equivalent to a Masters Degree - with The Ministry of Justice and The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
